"In coordination with the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the General Directorate of Security's Public Order Department; as a result of the efforts of the Public Order and Intelligence Branch Directorates of the İzmir Provincial Police Department; investigations were initiated by our prosecutors against the suspects who are members of the Organized Fraud Crime Group captured in operations conducted in Istanbul, Aydın, Bursa, Balıkesir, Antalya, Muğla, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Batman, Kırklareli, and Adana, by calling our citizens, introducing themselves as 'mediator lawyers, enforcement officers,' and defrauding them by saying, 'You have a lawsuit against you,' and collecting money under the guise of mediation fees, and for establishing an organization to commit fraud and crimes.

A LARGE AMOUNT OF MONEY WAS SEIZED

As a result of the operations, unlicensed firearms, various amounts of narcotic substances, a large amount of foreign currency and Turkish Lira, as well as numerous digital materials were seized. I congratulate our İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, which coordinated the operations, and our heroic police officers who carried out the operations."
