Following Donald Trump's controversial announcement of a Gaza plan last week, Netanyahu published a draft of what the region might look like. The plan, supported by AI-generated images shared by the Israeli Prime Minister, parallels Trump's vision of the "Riviera of the Middle East."
Netanyahu's former strategist Nadav Shtrauchler stated in an interview with The Sun, "I think Trump has seen this plan in some way. This idea likely came from Israel and was somehow conveyed to Trump."
The design, called "Gaza 2035," features the region covered with futuristic skyscrapers and a 212-kilometer railway line extending to NEOM. The plan promises to move Gaza "from crisis to prosperity" and "rebuild from scratch" under "U.S. dominance."
78-year-old Republican Trump drew global backlash by calling for the resettlement of displaced Palestinians elsewhere. Trump claimed that his plan would create "thousands of job opportunities" and transform the region into "a magnificent area where people from around the world will live."
Trump stated, "The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do business there. We will turn it into an incredible international place. The potential of the Gaza Strip is amazing. We must learn from history and not allow it to be repeated."
