The trial of the criminal organization led by Aziz İhsan Aktaş continues with hearings where 7 mayors are being tried. The hearings are being held in a different courtroom due to insufficient capacity at the Istanbul 1st Heavy Penal Court.
The trial of the case known as the 'Aziz İhsan Aktaş criminal organization', which is alleged to have organized tender processes by bribing mayors and is led by Aziz İhsan Aktaş, will continue.
In the scope of the 'Aziz İhsan Aktaş criminal organization' investigation, the prosecution of 11 arrested defendants, including 7 mayors—3 of whom are in custody—and 200 non-custodial defendants, continues. The hearing will be held in Hall No. 3, located opposite the Marmara Closed Penitentiary Institution, due to the insufficient capacity of the Istanbul 1st Heavy Penal Court.
5 MORE DEFENDANTS WERE RELEASED
The court had decided to release the arrested defendants: Ceyhan Mayor Kadir Aydar, Beşiktaş Municipality Cleaning Affairs Director Çağdaş Ateşçi, Beşiktaş Municipality support services personnel Gülşah Ocak, Beşiktaş Municipality Support Services Director Ferit Tutşi, and former Beşiktaş Municipality Support Services Director Gülal Erdovan Anıl.
