As part of the drug investigation targeting celebrities, detention orders have been issued for 7 more individuals. Among those detained is Ibrahim Barut, the son of Nezih Barut, the owner of the major pharmaceutical company Abdi İbrahim.
Seven more people have been issued detention orders in the drug investigation involving celebrities.
Hürriyet writer Mehmet Üstündağ, İbrahim Barut, social media influencer Burak Hancı, and Abdullah Gençal have been detained. It has been determined that the other three individuals who have been issued detention orders are abroad.
HEIR OF ABDİ İBRAHİM IN CUSTODY It was stated that İbrahim Barut is a member of the Board of Directors of Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceuticals and also serves as the Executive Director of Consumer Health Products within the company. Barut is reported to play an active role in the management team of Abdi İbrahim.
According to company sources, Barut has significant responsibilities in the development of corporate strategies and the expansion of the consumer health products portfolio. No detailed statement has yet been made by the official authorities regarding the detention process.
