On the second day of Eid al-Adha, a 5-kilometer vehicle queue formed in Ölüdeniz, Fethiye, Muğla due to an influx of domestic and international tourists, and the beaches became crowded.
During the second day of Eid al-Adha, there was a high density of visitors in the world-famous tourist neighborhood Ölüdeniz in the Fethiye district of Muğla. Local and foreign vacationers, taking advantage of the holiday break, flocked to Ölüdeniz starting from the morning hours.
A 5-KILOMETER-LONG QUEUE FORMED
A vehicle queue of approximately 5 kilometers formed on the highway providing access to the Ölüdeniz neighborhood, with traffic occasionally coming to a standstill. Some citizens, unable to advance for a long time, parked their vehicles on the roadside and tried to reach Kumburnu and Belcekız beaches on foot.
EVERYWHERE WAS FILLED WITH VACATIONERS
Due to the density, traffic teams carried out guidance work in the area. Drivers experienced difficult moments, especially during the midday hours due to the effect of the hot weather. It was observed that the beaches and most businesses in Ölüdeniz were at full occupancy. The density is expected to continue in the region throughout the holiday.
