The holiday break has ended, but the congestion on highways has not. Due to traffic on the Anatolian Highway's Düzce section toward Istanbul, vehicles could only move at 20 kilometers per hour. As the traffic flow slowed, a queue of vehicles stretching for kilometers formed on the highway.

Despite the end of the Eid al-Adha holiday, traffic congestion continues on the Düzce section of the Anatolian Highway.

DRIVERS SLOW DOWN TO 20 KILOMETERS PER HOUR

Drivers who set out on Monday to avoid the post-holiday rush encountered long vehicle queues heading towards Istanbul.

Due to the heavy traffic especially in the Düzce area, vehicles occasionally had to proceed at speeds as low as 20 kilometers per hour.

KILOMETER-LONG VEHICLE QUEUES FORMED

As traffic flow slowed, kilometer-long vehicle queues formed on the highway. Drivers heading towards Istanbul experienced difficulties due to traffic that occasionally came to a standstill.

WARNING FROM AUTHORITIES

Authorities warned drivers traveling on the route to obey traffic rules, maintain following distance, and be cautious.

THE ORDEAL CAPTURED FROM THE AIR

Meanwhile, the kilometer-long vehicle queue was captured from the air.
