The Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, announced that this month a total of 6.1 billion lira in home care assistance has been deposited into accounts to provide economic support to fully dependent citizens and their families who are cared for at home.

Minister Göktaş stated, "With this assistance, we are supporting the preservation and strengthening of family unity by allowing individuals with disabilities to live with their families or loved ones without leaving their environment. In this context, we have provided a total of 37.4 billion lira in Home Care Assistance so far in 2025."
INCREASES REFLECTED
Minister Göktaş reminded that the monthly payments of home care assistance, aimed at providing economic support to fully dependent citizens cared for at home and their families, have been increased from 10,125 lira to 11,702 lira in line with the July civil servant salary coefficient, and that payments are made to the accounts of eligible recipients on the 15th of each month.
529 THOUSAND PEOPLE BENEFIT
Minister Göktaş said, "With the new regulation, we have started to deposit home care assistance payments into the accounts of eligible recipients with an increase. Currently, 529 thousand of our citizens benefit from home care assistance. In this context, we are making a total payment of 6.1 billion lira this month. I wish all payments to be beneficial for our disabled citizens."
