The incident occurred around 11:50 at the corner of Sıhhiye Street and Yakamoz Street in the central Nilüfer district.
STRUCK THE GARBAGE TRUCK
According to the information obtained, the car driven by the female driver S.B. (20) collided with the rear of the garbage truck, managed by A.İ. (52), which had stopped in the far left lane for emptying a trash bin while heading towards Sanayi Street.
CLEANING WORKER TRAPPED BETWEEN THE COLLIDING VEHICLES
As a result of the collision, the worker Sezgin Yıldız (40), who was on duty on the garbage truck, was seriously injured after being trapped between the two vehicles. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. Yıldız, who was seriously injured, was taken to Bursa City Hospital after the first intervention at the scene. Despite all interventions at the hospital, Yıldız lost his life.
ARRESTED
The driver of the car, S.B., who was taken into custody, was arrested by the court to which she was referred.
