The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF) has put Birinci Hospital, mentioned in the Yenidoğan investigation, up for sale with an estimated value of 546 million 500 thousand TL.
TMSF has added a new one to the sales processes of commercial and economic integrity entities within its structure. The tender announcement of Birinci Hospital, one of the notable sales decisions in the public eye, was published in the Official Gazette and announced to investors.
TENDER CONDITIONS AND PARTICIPATION FEE
The sales process draws attention with the commercial potential of the hospital and its high estimated value of 546 million 500 thousand lira. The mandatory deposit fee required for those wishing to participate in the tender has been set at 54 million 650 thousand lira.
The tender will be conducted using a combination of "sealed envelope" and "auction" methods to increase transparency and competition.
TENDER SCHEDULE AND HOW WILL THE PROCESS WORK?
TMSF has also clarified critical dates and address information for the smooth progress of the tender. Investors participating in the tender need to pay attention to the following schedule:
Final bid submission date (sealed envelope): Bidders are required to submit their sealed and signed envelopes containing their bids to the institution no later than July 28 at 16:00.
Auction day and location: The auction stage, which will take place after the receipt of sealed envelopes, will be held on July 29 at 11:00 at TMSF's main building in Istanbul Esentepe.
IT CAME TO THE AGENDA WITH THE NEWBORN GANG INVESTIGATION
Private Birinci Hospital, which is the subject of the sale, was one of the central institutions in the "Newborn Gang" investigation, where it generated unfair profits by referring emergency infant patients to the newborn units of private hospitals they had agreements with, and caused infant deaths through negligent actions.
