The famous artist Ferdi Tayfur, who passed away on January 2, at the hospital where he was receiving treatment, spent his last days by the sea in his house in Marmaris, which has now fallen silent.

Ferdi Tayfur, who spent his last days with his nieces and sister in his seaside house in Adaköy, Marmaris, was hospitalized on December 15, 2024, after falling ill. After continuing his treatment in Muğla, Tayfur was later transferred to Antalya by air ambulance. Despite all interventions, Tayfur passed away on January 2, 2025.

Ferdi Tayfur began his investments by purchasing a villa with a pool in the İçmeler area of Marmaris and continued as the owner of a peninsula and various properties. Tayfur, who passed away at the age of 79, had investments that did not stop there. It was learned that he owned 6 villas and 30 apartments in different districts of Istanbul, as well as 50 apartments in Adana. Tayfur also had significant partnerships in the construction sector, although the details of his investments in this area are not fully known.
