The Council of Judges and Prosecutors changed the high criminal court to which 3 districts in Tekirdağ and Çanakkale are attached. With the decision published in the Official Gazette, the Malkara district of Tekirdağ and the Gelibolu and Eceabat districts of Çanakkale were included in the judicial district of the Keşan High Criminal Court. The regulation, made taking into account the geographical location of the districts and transportation opportunities to Keşan, entered into force as of October 21.
The decision of the General Assembly of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) regarding the re-determination of the judicial districts of certain districts was published in the Official Gazette.
JUDICIAL DISTRICTS OF 3 DISTRICTS CHANGED
According to the decision taken, considering the geographical situation of Malkara district and the transportation facilities to Keşan district, Malkara was removed from the judicial district of the Tekirdağ Heavy Penal Court and connected to the judicial district of the Keşan Heavy Penal Court, while Gelibolu and Eceabat districts, considering their geographical situation and transportation facilities to Keşan district, were removed from the judicial district of the Çanakkale Heavy Penal Court and connected to the judicial district of the Keşan Heavy Penal Court.
It was decided that this decision shall be implemented as of Wednesday, October 21.
