In a house that was visited following a report of a bad smell in Kastamonu, the body of 28-year-old Elif C., who was found to be pregnant, was discovered stabbed to death. It was determined that the pregnant woman had been killed 10 days prior, while her husband was caught wandering in a square in the city center.

Citizens living in the building reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center due to bad odors coming from the apartment. Following the report, fire crews were dispatched to the apartment. As a result of their work, the fire crews entered the house. Inside, they found the body of a pregnant woman. Following this, police, health teams, and crime scene investigation teams conducted examinations in the house.
KILLED BY STAB WOUNDS
The body was identified as belonging to 23-year-old pregnant Elif Civil. It was determined that Elif Civil was killed by stab wounds to her body, and it was noted that the body had been in the house for more than 10 days. After the examinations conducted by the teams in the house, Elif Civil's body was taken to the morgue of Kastamonu Training and Research Hospital. HUSBAND CAUGHT WHILE WALKING IN THE SQUARE
Following the incident, teams from the Kastamonu Provincial Police Department began working to capture the deceased woman's husband, B.C. (29). As a result of the efforts carried out by the teams, it was determined that B.C. was in Nasrullah Square in the city center. B.C. was caught and detained by the teams as a murder suspect in the city square. While the person was being captured, the child next to him, I.C. (1.5), was taken to the Provincial Police Department by the police teams.
