In Istanbul, people who took to Istiklal Avenue as part of Halloween drew attention with their unusual costumes and scary makeup. While the scenes reminiscent of US streets also brought debates, views emerged arguing that the celebrations are incompatible with Turkish culture, alongside those who saw them as entertainment.
İstiklal Avenue in Istanbul's Beyoğlu district witnessed people walking around in Halloween costumes. In footage recorded during the night, people dressed as different characters were seen walking along the crowded avenue. While some participants drew attention with their scary makeup and unusual outfits, others opted for more fun costumes.

In the footage, three people wrapped in white sheets and wearing sunglasses were seen posing for the camera. Other participants walking around in skeleton-patterned outfits, horror-themed masks, and eerie makeup also drew attention.
Costumes and face makeup reminiscent especially of horror movie characters stood out in the footage recorded throughout the night.
