U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that Iran used artificial intelligence in the war to produce fake attack images and that some media outlets spread this content. Trump also argued that the images circulating on social media showing the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier on fire were fake. The U.S. President further demanded that some media outlets be punished for "treason" for publishing these contents, which he alleged were sourced from Iran, without verification.

US President Donald Trump, in a statement made on his social media account amid the ongoing war with Iran, targeted Iran and some media organizations with harsh words. Trump claimed that Iran produced AI-supported fake images and misinformation to hide its failures on the battlefield.

"THE IMAGES DO NOT REFLECT THE TRUTH"

Trump argued that the images suggesting Iran was conducting attacks at sea with "kamikaze boats" do not reflect reality, stating that these images were produced for propaganda purposes. Claiming that the Iranian military is "weak and ineffective" from a military standpoint, Trump expressed that the only thing the Tehran administration has gained in the war is propaganda produced with artificial intelligence.

ALSO TARGETED MEDIA ORGANIZATIONS

The US President also stated that some media organizations published these contents, which he claimed were sourced from Iran, without verification. Trump noted that reports in the Wall Street Journal about five US fuel supply planes being hit do not reflect the truth, revealing that the majority of those planes continued their missions.

Trump argued that the images circulating on social media showing the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier belonging to the US on fire are also fake. The US President stated that the ship was not attacked and that the fire claims were disinformation produced with artificial intelligence.

ACCUSATION OF "TREASON" AGAINST THE MEDIA

In his statement, Trump harshly criticized some media organizations. He argued that the spread of misinformation, which he claimed originated from Iran, should be considered "treason" and stated that the media organizations publishing these news should be held accountable.

The US President also expressed his approval of US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr's review of the broadcasting licenses of some media organizations. Trump claimed that the American media, particularly the left-leaning press, intentionally published false news, asserting that this has significantly decreased public trust in them.

"IRAN IS SUFFERING GREAT LOSSES"

Trump asserted that Iran has suffered heavy losses in the war and has seriously weakened militarily. Claiming that Iran resorted to propaganda activities to conceal the real situation on the ground, Trump stated that the Tehran administration's "only war won is the propaganda wars produced with artificial intelligence." As the war that began on February 28 between the US-Israel and Iran enters its third week, both sides continue to escalate tensions with mutual statements and propaganda accusations.
