Following the explosion, there was movement in the area, and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian was seen participating in the rally and walking among the citizens.
THEY TOOK TO THE STREETS FOR QUDS DAY
The Iranian people gathered in Tehran as part of the Quds Day events held annually in support of Palestine. Iranian state television announced that an explosion occurred at the rally site. After the explosion, security forces began an investigation in the area. Mojtaba Khamenei, who has emerged as Iran's new leader, had also called for participation in the rally. It was reported that thousands of people attended the march in Tehran.
NEW THREAT FROM TRUMP
While developments in Tehran continue, US President Donald Trump gave a stern message regarding Iran in a statement to Fox News. Trump, while evaluating the attacks of the US and Israel on Iran, stated, "We will hit Iran very hard next week. They will receive a heavy blow next week."
Trump also spoke about the Strait of Hormuz, saying, "We will see what happens in Hormuz. I hope everything goes well; if necessary, we will escort the ships."
PEZESHKIAN TOOK PHOTOS WITH CITIZENS
Despite Israel's evacuation warnings, the rally continued, and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian was seen in the area. It was noted that Pezeshkian walked on the street, chatted with citizens, and did not refuse those who wanted to take photos with him. Another striking detail was that Pezeshkian roamed among the public without a security cordon. It was reported that the Iranian President stayed at the rally site for a long time.
ARAKCHI: OIL PRICES MAY RISE
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi, who participated in the Quds Day march, also made statements. Arakchi pointed out that oil prices are currently rising and stated that if the US and Israel's policies in the region continue, prices could rise even further.
