HOSPITALIZED
In a statement made by the Sheriff's Office, it was reported that teams arrived at the scene, Hilton was found safe, and was taken to the hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue teams.
Authorities stated that Hilton's treatment is ongoing, and noted that he was alone at home during the incident, which was confirmed by family members.

Dante Rusciolelli and Rebekah Kochan, co-CEOs of Golden Artists Entertainment, which represents Perez Hilton, also issued a written statement.
In the statement, they said they were aware of the images circulating online, adding, "We have been unable to communicate directly with him. Our biggest priority is Perez's health and well-being, and the condition of his family."
