POLICE TEAMS DEPLOYED TO THE PARK
The incident occurred at Yekap Park. According to allegations, an intoxicated individual called the 112 Emergency Call Center and reported that a woman was being robbed in the park.
Upon the report, Public Order and Yunus teams were dispatched to the area. It was learned that the individual, who provided his own description during the call, handed his phone to a woman in the park. The alarmed woman took shelter in a nearby market.
THE TRUTH BEHIND THE REPORT SOON EMERGED
During checks by police teams in the area, it was determined that no robbery had occurred. It also became clear that the description given during the report belonged not to the alleged victim but to the reporting individual himself.
With the intervention of the teams, the incident was understood to be false, and it was confirmed that the person making the report was intoxicated.
An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
