In Aksaray, while Dr. Mutlu Ceyhun Altınkaya was finishing his shift and heading home, he witnessed an accident and intervened with the injured Yasin Özdemir (32), who turned out to be a nurse working at the same hospital. At around 18:00 in Aksaray, an accident occurred on Alpaslan Türkeş Boulevard in the Paşacık neighborhood; the motorcycle with license plate 68 AFY 575, driven by Yasin Özdemir, collided with the service minibus with license plate 68 S 0324, driven by Çaban Oflaz (42). The spinning motorcycle was able to stop by crashing into an electricity pole on the roadside, while Özdemir, who was wearing a helmet, was seriously injured.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mutlu Ceyhun Altınkaya, who was working in the Emergency Department of Aksaray Training and Research Hospital and was on his way home after his shift, stopped when he saw the accident and intervened with the injured Yasin Özdemir until health officials arrived. He then accompanied the injured Özdemir until he was taken to the ambulance. It was revealed that Özdemir also worked as a nurse at the same hospital. Özdemir was taken to the hospital where he worked by ambulance for treatment. It was learned that Özdemir's condition is critical. The service driver Çaban Oflaz was also taken to the police station for his statement. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
