Udinese, an Italian Serie A club, may part ways with Nicolo Zaniolo this summer even after securing his transfer from Galatasaray. It has been reported that Serie A teams are interested in the Italian footballer, and if a transfer occurs, Galatasaray will also receive a share of the transfer fee.
Nicolo Zaniolo, who was loaned to Udinese from Galatasaray last season, has had his transfer fee purchased by the Serie A club.
ZANIOLO MAY LEAVE THE TEAM
However, due to a salary disagreement in contract renewal negotiations with the Italian club, the likelihood of Zaniolo parting ways this summer has increased.
INTEREST FROM NAPOLI AND LAZIO
Serie A sides Napoli and especially Lazio are reportedly interested in the experienced player. According to a report in La Gazzetta dello Sport, Zaniolo, who finds Udinese's offered salary insufficient, may request to leave the team.
GALATASARAY TO RECEIVE A SHARE
Per the agreement between Udinese and Galatasaray, 50% of Zaniolo's transfer fee will go to the yellow-reds. Thus, if the player transfers to another club, Galatasaray will gain a significant transfer fee revenue.
SEASON PERFORMANCE
Last season, the 26-year-old Nicolo Zaniolo made 38 appearances for Udinese, recording 6 goals and 7 assists.
