Israel launched an attack on Mehrabad International Airport in Tehran, the capital of Iran. The airport, which was subjected to intense bombardment, reportedly caught fire, with flames visible from kilometers away. Meanwhile, it was observed that parked aircraft were also hit during the attack.
The attacks by the US and Israel against Iran continue. Iranian state media reported that various areas in the east and west of the capital Tehran were hit by heavy airstrikes. According to initial reports, the attacks targeted military bases and headquarters, including Mehrabad Airport.

It was reported that a fire broke out at the airport, which was subjected to intense bombardment, with flames rising visible from kilometers away. Meanwhile, another image showed a parked aircraft that was also targeted in the attacks.
ISRAEL HAD WARNED BEFORE THE ATTACK
The timing of the development drew attention as it occurred immediately after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the launch of a new wave of attacks against targets belonging to the Iranian regime.
WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
Since the morning of February 28, Israel and the US have launched a major joint attack against Iran.
In response, the Iranian armed forces, particularly the Revolutionary Guards, carried out missile and drone attacks on Israeli and US military bases in the region.
According to the latest statistics from the Iranian Institute for Martyrs and Disabled, it has been confirmed that 1,332 people have died and 6,186 have been injured so far.
