A police raid was conducted on the house of a couple who were loudly partying in Esenyurt, Istanbul during the night hours. The woman, who was alleged to be intoxicated, lost her balance and fell from the 5th floor, sustaining serious injuries. While efforts were being made to rescue the woman, it was observed that some of the residents of the house were attempting to escape from the police.
The police went to the house of a couple who were allegedly having a loud party in Esenyurt, Istanbul at night, following a report. The woman, who was said to be drunk, lost her balance and fell from the 5th floor, suffering serious injuries.
The incident took place on Wednesday night, July 24th, in Güzelyurt neighborhood, 2145th street, in Esenyurt district. A couple and their friends who were making a lot of noise in their house and disturbing the neighbors caused a commotion. The annoyed neighbors called the police. When the police arrived at the scene, the residents of the house resisted their warnings.
WOMAN FELL FROM THE BALCONY, OTHERS STARTED TO RUN AWAY
Meanwhile, allegedly, a woman who had consumed too much alcohol in the same house leaned out of the balcony and lost her balance, falling between two buildings from the 5th floor. While attempts were being made to rescue the woman, it was observed that some of the residents of the house were trying to escape from the police. The woman who fell from the 5th floor was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital by an ambulance after the initial treatment. The person who tried to escape from the police was detained and it was revealed that he was a foreign national without a residence permit. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
"THEY WERE DISTURBING THE NEIGHBORHOOD"
Ibrahim Dağ, who stated that he woke up to the noise of the neighbors in the evening, said, "We were sleeping in the evening. Suddenly, we heard noises. Probably people were drinking there. A woman fell from the window. The police came and the residents of the house resisted the police. The police requested backup. They were making a lot of noise in the house and disturbing the neighborhood. We called the police. I don't know how the woman fell, but I saw them putting her in an ambulance."
