Speaking about the attacks on Iran carried out in conjunction with the United States, Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir said, "After completing the surprise first strike phase in which we established air superiority and suppressed ballistic missile systems, we are now moving on to the next phase. We have some surprise moves that we are not yet considering announcing."
Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir held a press conference regarding the attacks on Iran carried out in conjunction with the United States.
"WE HAVE DESTROYED APPROXIMATELY 80% OF AIR DEFENSE SYSTEMS" Zamir stated, "Within 24 hours, our pilots opened the way to Tehran. We have destroyed approximately 80% of the air defense systems and achieved almost complete air superiority in Iranian airspace." Zamir made a statement regarding the attacks carried out since the start of military activity and the munitions used, saying, "Israeli Air Force pilots have conducted 2,500 attacks and used more than 6,000 munitions."
"THE THREAT HAS NOT YET BEEN ELIMINATED" The Israeli Chief of Staff said, "With this and the support of high-quality intelligence, we are targeting ballistic missiles that pose a direct threat to Israel. We have neutralized and destroyed more than 60% of the ballistic missile launchers. Every missile is lethal, and I want to emphasize that the threat has not yet been eliminated."
Eyal Zamir "WE ARE MOVING TO THE NEXT PHASE" Zamir also stated that Israel has moved to the next phase in its attacks on Iran. The Chief of Staff said, "After completing the surprise first strike phase, where we established air superiority and suppressed ballistic missile systems, we are now moving to the next phase. In this phase, we will intensify attacks on the regime's foundations and military capabilities. We have some surprise moves that I have not yet considered announcing."
"WE ARE IN CONSTANT CONTACT WITH U.S. COUNTERPARTS" Zamir noted that he is in constant contact with U.S. counterparts, including U.S. Chief of Staff Dan Caine and U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) Commander Admiral Brad Cooper, stating, "We are fighting in line with common interests and values. By acting simultaneously, we are depriving the regime of its military capabilities, leading it to a strategic isolation and a level of weakness it has never experienced before. This is a historic cooperation."
