After businessman Ali İhsan Kaya was found dead in his car on October 12, details emerged of the last message he sent to his wife, Ayşe Burcu Kaya, before he died. In the message of Kaya, who was said to be in the process of divorcing his wife and bade her farewell, it was learned that he apologized to his family and used the expressions “I love you all very much. Goodbye.”
Businessman Ali İhsan Kaya was found shot in his car in Acarkent in Istanbul’s Beykoz on the morning of October 12. It emerged that Kaya, whose farewell message sent to his wife before his death came to light, apologized to his family in the message and expressed his love for his wife.
New details have emerged regarding the death of Ali İhsan Kaya, one of the well-known figures in business and social life. Kaya, who was among the board members of Koçkaya Holding, left his villa in Beykoz Acarkent at around 06:30 on the morning of Monday, October 12, 2026, to exercise. A while later, Kaya was found shot in his car, and it was determined that he had lost his life.
According to a report by Nefes Gazetesi, the last message Kaya sent to his wife Ayşe Burcu Kaya before his death has also come to light. It was stated that the couple, who have a child, were in the process of divorcing and had spent the night before the incident in the same house.
HE SAID “GOODBYE” IN HIS LAST MESSAGE TO HIS WIFE
According to the statement Ali İhsan Kaya’s wife gave to the police, the couple spent time together on the evening before the incident. It was reported that toward midnight his wife went to the room to sleep, while Kaya stayed in the living room. It was stated that Kaya sent a message to his wife in the morning hours.
It was learned that in his message Kaya expressed his feelings about the divorce decision, his family, and what had happened. The following statements were reported to be included in the message:
“Even though we made the divorce decision together, I cannot imagine a life without you.
We brought this situation upon ourselves together with my family.
I did things to you that you did not deserve.
I did wrong things. I hurt you. You do not deserve me. I love you very much. Goodbye.”

After Ali İhsan Kaya left his home on the morning of October 12, he was found shot in his car at a point close to his villa in Acarkent. After the incident was reported, teams were dispatched to the area.
While an investigation was launched into the businessman’s death, it was reported that initial assessments focused on the possibility of suicide. It was stated that investigations into the circumstances of the death are ongoing.

A funeral ceremony was held on October 13 at Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque for Ali İhsan Kaya, who was among the board members of Koçkaya Holding. After the funeral prayer, Kaya was buried in the family cemetery at Zincirlikuyu Cemetery.
