The President of the Syrian Arab Republic's Transitional Period, Ahmed Shara, will visit Ankara tomorrow in response to the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

It has been learned that the meetings to be held at the Presidential Complex will address all dimensions of the latest developments in Syria, while notable statements came from the leader of the terrorist organization PKK/PYD, Mazlum Abdi, before Shara's visit.
SPOKE ABOUT DEVELOPMENTS IN SYRIA
Leader Abdi, in an interview with the AP, made evaluations regarding the developments in Syria, the recently appointed president of the temporary Syrian government, Colani, and what they are demanding from Damascus.
"WE ALSO DEFEND THE INTEGRITY OF THE COUNTRY"
Abdi stated, "Like all Syrians, we also defend the integrity of the country. We want a decentralized state, not autonomy." He expressed that "the people of northeastern Syria want to manage their local affairs in a decentralized state," and added, "Northeast Syria is not Kurdistan (of) Iraq, and Iraq is not Syria."
"WE ARE NOT A PART OF THE WAR BETWEEN PKK AND TURKEY"
Mazlum Abdi evaluated the claims that they are "extensions of the PKK" regarding Turkey, stating, "We are not related to the PKK in any way. We are not a part of the war between the PKK and the Turkish state. This is not our issue. It is merely a justification to create an excuse for attacks on these regions."
