In the Yunusemre district of Manisa, the lifeless body of 18-year-old Halil Burak Şen, who had been missing since yesterday, was found in the Bağyolu Pond. The incident occurred yesterday in the Bağyolu Pond area of the Yuntdağı region in Yunusemre district. According to reports, Halil Burak Şen came to the pond with a friend in a car with the license plate 45 HK 965 the day before. The two friends spent the night in the car. When his friend woke up in the morning, he could not see Şen in the car or around. Seeing one of Şen's shoes by the pond, his friend reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report received around 1:00 PM yesterday, police, Jandarma Search and Rescue (JAK), AFAD, and İHAKUT teams were dispatched to the area. The teams intensified their search efforts along the shore of the pond where Şen's shoe was found.
HIS MOTHER AND FATHER COULDN'T HOLD BACK TEARS
Underwater teams reached Şen's lifeless body in the area around 11:00 AM today. After being taken out of the water, Şen was transported to the morgue of Manisa Merkezefendi State Hospital for an autopsy following the scene investigation.
Halil Burak Şen's father, Adem Şen, and mother, Gülşah Şen, who arrived at the scene after hearing the news, could not hold back their tears. It was learned that Şen was the eldest of three children in the family and worked in a winding workshop. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
