The United States, which has begun to increase its military presence in the Middle East for a possible attack on Iran, has sent another warship to the region. A missile destroyer belonging to the U.S. Navy has docked at the Port of Eilat, located on the Red Sea coast south of Israel. With this latest move, the U.S. has deployed approximately 5,700 more troops to the region, raising the total number of soldiers in the Middle East to around 50,000.
Following the threats of U.S. President Donald Trump towards Iran, Washington continues to increase its military presence in the Middle East for a possible attack on Tehran. ISRAELI ARMY CONFIRMED The Israeli army also confirmed that an American military ship arrived at the Port of Eilat in the country's south. In a statement from the Israeli army, it was reported that the arrival of the ship at the Port of Eilat on the Red Sea coast was planned in advance. It was stated that the arrival of the American missile destroyer is part of the ongoing close cooperation between the Israeli and U.S. armies. A security official, who spoke to Israeli state television KAN and requested anonymity, said, "This step was taken to strengthen military and security coordination between Washington and Tel Aviv."

Trump indicated that the armada in question is larger than the fleet sent to Venezuela, stating, "(The fleet) is ready, willing, and capable of carrying out its mission quickly and violently if necessary, just like in Venezuela."
