Located within the borders of Doğanşar district in Sivas, the Dipsizgöl Waterfall, which was recently declared a 'nature park', has frozen due to the cold weather.
Located 82 kilometers from the city center and 16 kilometers from Doğanşar district, Dipsizgöl Waterfall attracts visitors with its unique beauty in every season. The waterfall, formed by water cascading down in a fine line from a height of approximately 50 meters, captivates with its blue and green colors in spring, while in autumn, the trees turn yellow and red, blending all pastel colors. There are stalactite formations in the areas where the water flows, accessible by a metal staircase of about 100 meters from the slope.
A FAVORITE OF VISITORS IN WINTER
Covering an area of 41.31 hectares, the waterfall offers nature lovers a place to explore with its rich forest ecosystem, landscape beauty, and geological structure. While cold weather affects the entire city, some parts of Dipsizgöl Waterfall have been covered with ice. The visual beauty of the waterfall has been enhanced with ice stalactites.
In winter, as the vegetation on it sheds its leaves, a part of the waterfall, made up of rocks, transforms into a 'lion' visual when viewed from a certain angle. This feature makes the waterfall a favorite of visitors even in winter.
