Beşiktaş has appointed John Vik, the former chief scout of Molde who discovered the world-famous star Erling Haaland. Vik, who brought Haaland to Molde and to world football, will serve as a scout responsible for Northern Europe and North America at the black-and-white club. The 56-year-old Norwegian scout has previously worked alongside head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

HE ALSO BROUGHT SUCCESS TO MOLDE
The experienced scout, who previously worked in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team, was one of the key figures in bringing Erling Haaland to Molde. Haaland later transferred to the English giant Manchester City, becoming one of the best football players in the world.
VIK'S CAREER
John Vik has worked as a scout for the English Premier League team Manchester United in his career. The 56-year-old Norwegian scout has also served as chief scout at Molde and Cardiff.
