In Antalya, Serhan K. poured thinner on the door of his neighbor, Tezcan K., whom he had previously threatened by saying, "Look, I will throw a Molotov cocktail at your house, I will burn it," and set it on fire. Tezcan K. filed a complaint against the neighbor who tried to burn his house. The incident occurred yesterday around 10:30 PM in the top floor of a five-story apartment located on 198th Street in the Varlık neighborhood of the Muratpaşa district. Serhan K., who lives on the 4th floor of the apartment, allegedly poured thinner on the door of his upstairs neighbor Tezcan K., whom he had previously threatened by saying, "Look, I will throw a Molotov cocktail at your house, I will burn it," and set it on fire. At that moment, Tezcan K.'s 60-year-old mother, Gülperi K., who is a kidney patient, called her daughter and then asked the neighbors for help. Neighbors who noticed the smoke in the apartment intervened in the fire with their own means. Upon notification, police, fire brigade, and medical teams were dispatched to the area. With the intervention of the neighbors, the police team removed Serhan K., who had fled to his apartment. Serhan K., who attempted to burn his neighbor's house, was taken to the police station for his statement. Tezcan K., who filed a complaint against his downstairs neighbor who tried to burn his house, said, "I was outside, my mother called me on the phone and said, 'Serhan burned our door.' I called the police, then I came. He poured thinner with a can and set this place on fire. There is also a natural gas pipe here. If the pipe had burned, the whole building could have caught fire. We had previously been to court because he broke our door. Now he has burned it. I will file a complaint again; he will come back and do something else. He is sick, has health problems. He needs to be treated. No one is taking care of him. My mother was home alone; he threatened the life of an elderly woman. I want him to be treated," he said.
