It has been revealed that the WhatsApp profile picture of the 8th-grade student, who killed 1 teacher and 8 students and injured 17 students in an attack on a school in Kahramanmaraş, was that of Elliot Rodger, the murderer of 6 people.
In the armed attack that occurred at Ayser Çalık Middle School in the Haydarbey Neighborhood of the Onikişubat district in the center of Kahramanmaraş, 1 teacher and 8 students lost their lives, and 20 students were injured.

It was understood that the WhatsApp profile photo of the 14-year-old 8th-grade student İsa Aras Mersinli, who carried out the armed attack, was not himself but Elliot Rodger, the murderer of 6 people. Elliot Rodger had killed six people in May 2014 by carrying out a stabbing and armed attack in Isla Vista, California.
IDENTITIES OF THOSE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES REVEALED
On the other hand, the identities of the 9 people who lost their lives and whose autopsy procedures are continuing at the Kahramanmaraş Forensic Medicine Institute morgue have been determined. The names of the 1 educator and 8 students who lost their lives in the attack are as follows:
“Teacher Ayla Kara (56), students Mustafa Aslan, Şuranur Sevgi Kazıcı, Zeynep Kılınç, Furkan Sancak Balal (11), Bayram Nabi Şişik (10), Belinay Nur Poyraz (10), Adnan Göktürk Yeşil (11) and Kerem Erdem Güngör.”
TREATMENT OF THE INJURED CONTINUES
