In the Seyrantepe area of Karaçam Neighborhood in Çaykara district, after the heavy snowfall that affected the area in recent days, with the rise in air temperatures, the accumulated snow mass on the steep slope detached from a weak point and moved downward. The sliding snow mass, with a great noise, provided both excitement and visually impressive moments to the viewers.
While no loss of life or property occurred in the incident, it was stated that the avalanche risk continues in the region.
