Beyoğlu Mayor İnan Güney gave a statement at the Istanbul Courthouse as part of the investigation launched regarding the CHP Istanbul Provincial Congress.
The Beyoğlu Mayor İnan Güney, who came to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan to give a statement as a suspect in the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the allegations of 'irregularities in the election' related to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Congress, left the courthouse after his statement process was completed.
THE STATEMENT LASTED 1 HOUR AND 15 MINUTES
After approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes of statement procedures at the prosecutor's office, Güney left the courthouse without answering questions from the press.
WHAT IS İNAN GÜNEY ACCUSED OF?
The investigation in which Güney's statement was taken is being conducted regarding allegations of fraud during the CHP Istanbul Provincial Congress held on October 8, 2023.
The prosecutor's office had initiated an investigation based on the claim that fraud was involved in the congress and that the election law was violated.
