The message that Şeyma Gökçe sent to her mother a day before she suspiciously fell from the 14th floor and lost her life has broken hearts. It was revealed that Şeyma responded to her mother's message asking, "How is life going?" with "Very good."
On March 15, Saturday, a horrifying incident occurred on 58th Street in Şehit Osman Avcı Neighborhood, located in the Etimesgut district of Ankara. Şeyma Gökçe (31) fell from the 14th-floor apartment she shared with her boyfriend Hüseyin Uyucu (28) and was seriously injured. Şeyma Gökçe was taken by ambulance to Yıldırım Beyazıt University Yenimahalle Training and Research Hospital, where she unfortunately passed away despite all interventions.
HER BOYFRIEND WAS ASLEEP
Meanwhile, after the incident, police teams arrived at the building and called Hüseyin Uyucu on the phone and rang the doorbell. Not receiving a response, the teams informed the public prosecutor and entered the apartment using a locksmith. The teams found Uyucu asleep in the bedroom. Uyucu, who was taken into custody, claimed in his first statement that he had argued with Şeyma Gökçe in the morning, that he had taken medication, and that he fell asleep due to the effects of the medication, stating that he learned about the situation when the police entered the house. Uyucu was arrested for "intentional murder" by the court he was brought to at the courthouse.
FINGERPRINTS OF HER BOYFRIEND ON THE WINDOW
As part of the investigation into Şeyma Gökçe's death, the police conducted an examination at the house. Fingerprints were taken from the window from which Şeyma Gökçe fell. It was learned that Hüseyin Uyucu's fingerprints were detected on the living room window of the 1+1 apartment. Additionally, the statements of Şeyma Gökçe's mother Günnur and father Mithat Gökçe were taken.
ALLEGATIONS OF VIOLENCE FROM THE MOTHER
Günnur Gökçe stated in her testimony that she did not believe her daughter committed suicide, and that Hüseyin Uyucu had physically abused her daughter when they went on vacation to Akçakoca, but her daughter did not file a complaint. It was also claimed that Hüseyin Uyucu had previously fought with a security guard at the hospital, which led to legal issues between them.
“LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL” MESSAGE FROM ŞEYMA A DAY BEFORE
Additionally, it was revealed that Şeyma Gökçe had messaged her mother Günnur Gökçe a day before the incident. Şeyma Gökçe responded to her mother, who asked, "How is life going?" with "Very beautiful" and sent a heart emoji.
