The actress Mine Kılıç, who plays the character Mine in the series "Uzak Şehir," expressed her outrage over the insulting messages directed at her and her family on social media due to her role. Kılıç, who stated that she was disturbed by the harsh reactions, especially from female viewers, said, "I have neither my mother nor my father left... I can no longer remain silent; I will initiate legal action."

Kılıç, who has faced intense criticism through her character due to the love affair with Cihan and the events that followed, has rebelled against the messages she received.
"LEGAL ACTION WILL BE INITIATED"
Kılıç stated in her remarks that messages have come not only to her but also to her family, saying, "You cannot send strange photos and messages even to my niece. If it has turned into something familial, I cannot remain silent about it. Legal action will be initiated," she said.

In statements to the Posta newspaper, Mine Kılıç expressed her discomfort with the reactions associated with her character, saying, "Interestingly, especially in the eyes of women, it is like this. 'How can you be willing to have a relationship with a man who tells you he won't marry you?' If you see the Instagram comments, I have neither my mother nor my father left," she said.
Kılıç also noted that the reactions increased with the psychological transformation her character underwent as per the script, stating, "I have not seen another work where the audience gets so carried away."
