The Ministry of Trade has banned the sale of the "Mikrotem" branded solvent due to the risks it poses to children. It was stated that the product does not meet legal requirements regarding child safety cap mechanisms and tactile warnings.
The Ministry of Trade has banned another product as part of its inspections against harmful products. The ministry decided to withdraw the solvent branded "Mikrotem" from the market.
RISKY FOR CHILDREN
In the official statement made on April 18, it was noted that the product poses a risk, especially for children. The reason for the ban was cited as the lack of child safety cap mechanisms and the absence of tactile warnings.
IN VIOLATION OF REGULATIONS
The ministry stated that the product is in violation of the relevant articles of the "Regulation on the Classification, Labeling, and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures." In the statement, the reason for the product's unsafety was explained as follows: "Article 36/2/b of the Regulation on the Classification, Labeling, and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures pertains to rules regarding child safety closure mechanisms, and Article 36/2/c pertains to tactile warnings."
