In Burdur, 18-year-old Sudenaz S. left home saying she was going to the hospital, but after seeing missing person reports about herself, she went to the gendarmerie in Yozgat and said she had run away to get married.

In the Ağlasun district of Burdur, Sudenaz S. (18), who left home 4 days ago saying she was going to the hospital, saw the missing person reports about herself and applied to the gendarmerie in Yozgat, stating she left home to get married.

Sudenaz S., who lived with her father Birkan and mother Tuğba in Çamlıdere village of Ağlasun, left home in the morning on July 2, saying she was going to Isparta City Hospital. Around 4:00 PM, she called her father and said, "I went to Kayseri. I'm with someone from Kayseri," ending the conversation. Unable to reach his daughter who turned off her phone, Birkan S. filed a missing person report with the gendarmerie and police that same day.

'I WILL VISIT'

Sudenaz S. and Mesut V., with whom she had gone, learned about the news concerning her from the national press and went to the gendarmerie in the Sorgun district of Yozgat. The Sorgun Gendarmerie Command notified the Ağlasun Gendarmerie Command that Sudenaz S. and Mesut V. had come to them. In her statement taken by gendarmerie teams, Sudenaz S. said, "I am 18 years old. I ran away with Mesut V. of my own free will without informing anyone. I didn't tell my family where I was going. Yesterday, when we saw the news about us published, we went to the gendarmerie in Sorgun district of Yozgat and declared that we were here. I spoke with my father on the phone. I will marry Mesut V. within this week and then visit my family in Çamlıdere village of Ağlasun district."

"I AM HAPPY SHE IS ALIVE"

Birkan S. said, "I am happy that my daughter was found in Yozgat Sorgun and that she is alive. I believe the news in the national press had a great impact on finding my daughter, so I thank the press organizations, media workers, and gendarmerie teams who contributed."
