As a result of a joint operation organized by the National Intelligence Organization and the Hatay Provincial Police Department, Muhammed Dib Koralı, one of the perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Reyhanlı in 2013 that claimed the lives of 53 people, was captured in Syria.

HE SUPPLIED THE BOMBS USED IN THE EXPLOSION

The MIT determined that Muhammed Dib Koralı, one of the perpetrators of the Reyhanlı attack, supplied the bombs used in the explosion. Additionally, it was known that Koralı, who had an arrest warrant against him, was among the planners of the Reyhanlı attack.

DELIVERED TO HATAY POLICE

As a result of intelligence work, Muhammed Dib Koralı, whose location was identified, was captured by the MIT in a cross-border operation conducted in Syria and was delivered to the Hatay Provincial Police Department.

In 2018, the MIT had also brought Yusuf Nazik, one of the fugitive perpetrators and planners of the attack, to Turkey through an operation conducted in Syria.

In two separate bomb attacks that occurred in Reyhanlı, Hatay on May 11, 2013, 53 people lost their lives, and many civilians were injured.
