According to the information received, an explosion occurred for an undetermined reason in the solid waste storage tank located in the treatment facility of the Tuzla Leather Organized Industrial Zone. With the force of the explosion, the wall of the tank collapsed, injuring 5 people.
Upon notification, fire, police, health, and UMKE teams were dispatched to the area. The injured were taken to the hospital by ambulances. Firefighters continue their work in the area.
