Footage has emerged of the moment Nazir Ilgın, the ex-boyfriend who shot and killed 25-year-old Nilda Müge Şahin with a gun while she was waiting in front of a pharmacy after buying medicine for her brother in Şişli, Istanbul, was apprehended.
25-year-old Nilda Müge Şahin, who went to buy medicine for her brother on August 5 in the Gülbahar neighborhood of Istanbul's Şişli district, was shot and killed at the scene by her ex-boyfriend Nazir I.

Homicide Bureau teams had launched an operation to capture the fugitive suspect Nazir I. As a result of the operations, the murder suspect was captured today by the teams in the wooded area in Sarıyer Ayazağa, near the cemetery where the young woman was laid to rest.
It was learned that the sister called the police when she saw the suspect while visiting her sister Şahin's grave. The suspect, who was found to have 6 criminal records, claimed that he threw the gun used in the incident into the sea at a point he could not remember.

Meanwhile, footage of the moment of the suspect's capture emerged. The images show the moment the person was captured in the wooded area and taken away by the Homicide Bureau teams.
