ATTACKED HIS FATHER WITH A DONER KNIFE
The incident occurred on Elif Su Uludağ Street in Gültepe District, Sarıçam. According to claims, drug addict Ahmet Kaan Kayhan (23) asked his retired police officer father Faruk Kayhan (52) for money. When the father refused to give money, Ahmet Kaan Kayhan attacked his father with a doner knife he had with him.
FIRED UNTIL THE MAGAZINE WAS EMPTY
Thereupon, Faruk Kayhan opened fire on his son with his pistol. Kayhan, who is alleged to have fired until the bullets in his magazine ran out, shot Ahmet Kaan Kayhan in various parts of his body with the bullets from his gun, causing him to collapse to the ground.

After the incident, Faruk Kayhan called the 112 Emergency Call Center and reported the situation to the police. Upon the report, teams dispatched to the area determined that Ahmet Kaan Kayhan had lost his life. Faruk Kayhan, who waited by his son's body until the police arrived, was taken into custody and brought to the police station. The suspect was handed over to the Homicide Bureau teams for processing.
