Security camera footage has emerged of the Tuğberk İmamoğlu dry cargo ship, which sank after colliding with the vessel ALSU off the coast of Silivri in the Sea of Marmara, departing from the Port of İskenderun on August 27. In the footage, a tugboat is seen accompanying the ship, and Transport Minister Uraloğlu stated that there were 10 crew members on board during the accident and that search efforts are ongoing.
Footage from the security camera of the departure of the dry cargo ship named "Tugberk Imamoglu," which sank after colliding with a commercial vessel in the Sea of Marmara, from Iskenderun Port on August 27, has been obtained.
THE MOMENT OF DEPARTURE FROM THE PORT HAS EMERGED
It was learned that the ship "Tugberk Imamoglu," which sank after colliding with the oil-laden vessel "ALSU" in the offshore waters of Silivri during the night hours, had set sail from the ISDEMIR Port.
The ship carrying steel coils departed from the port at 15:58 on August 27, as recorded by the security camera.
In the footage, a tugboat is seen accompanying the ship as it set out on its journey.
10 TURKISH SEAFARERS WERE ON THE SHIP
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu reported that following the incident in the Sea of Marmara, 10 Turkish seafarers, including captains, were on the sunken ship "Tugberk Imamoglu," and that search and rescue efforts were continuing from the sea and the air.
