In Ümraniye, the driver of a car that overturned into a ditch, Mehmet A., lost his life.
In Istanbul's Umraniye district, a driver named Mehmet A. died after his car went out of control, overturned into a ditch, and flipped over, trapping him underneath. An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
The accident occurred around 00:30 in Hamamlidere Street, Inkilap Neighborhood, Umraniye.
The car with license plate 34 MHZ 207, whose control was lost by Mehmet A., overturned into the ditch and flipped over. Upon reports from those who witnessed the accident, fire brigade, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
TRAPPED UNDER THE CAR
During the medical teams' examination, it was determined that the driver Mehmet A., trapped under the car, had lost his life.
Following the work of the fire brigade teams, Mehmet A.'s body was removed from its location. The body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy procedures.
VEHICLE REMOVED WITH A TOW TRUCK
The overturned car was removed from its location with the help of a tow truck after the teams completed their work.
The police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
