In Fatih, Kholımakhon Odılovna Akhmadova, a citizen of Uzbekistan, was found dead at her home with her throat slit. The police from the Homicide Bureau, who are investigating the incident, held discussions with consulate officials to capture Akmaljon Rustamovıch S., who was determined to have fled abroad. It has been learned that the suspect, who was apprehended in Uzbekistan, confessed to the murder.
On the night of September 21, Sunday, in Aksaray, Istanbul, neighbors of Züleyha E., a foreign national, reported to the landlord that they had not heard from her for a long time. The landlord, who arrived at the apartment, entered with the help of a locksmith. Upon finding Züleyha E. motionless in her bedroom, the landlord notified the police and health teams. The health teams that arrived at the scene determined that Züleyha E. had died with her throat slit. After the work of the prosecutor's office and crime scene investigation teams, the body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution Morgue for autopsy procedures.
CAUGHT IN UZBEKISTAN
The police from the Homicide Bureau of the Public Security Branch, who initiated an investigation into the incident, identified the murdered woman as Kholımakhon Odılovna Akhmadova, a citizen of Uzbekistan. Examining security camera footage, the police determined that the suspect entered the house with Akhmadova on September 17 and left the house alone one day later. The police also investigated the suspect's arrival and departure routes through security cameras and found that he had come to Turkey from Uzbekistan a month ago and fled back to Uzbekistan after the incident.

As a result, teams from the Istanbul Police Department, who communicated with Uzbek authorities through the consulate, captured Akmaljon Rustamovıch S., whose identity was determined as a result of the meeting. The suspect had two mobile phones on him, one of which was found to belong to the murdered woman. Additionally, during the interrogation in Uzbekistan, it was learned that the suspect confessed to his crime and stated in his statement, 'He was using me, he was deceiving me, I loved him.' It was also learned that the suspect mentioned in his statement that they were under the influence of alcohol during the incident and that Akhmadova had demanded money from him through blackmail, which led him to commit the murder. Information was obtained that the suspect's procedures in Uzbekistan were ongoing.
