The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul gained 3.09%, reaching 10,025.47 points. Increases were also observed in gold and the dollar. Oyak Cement was the stock that gained the most.

This week, among investment instruments, gold, the stock market, and the dollar yielded profits. The BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul completed the week with a gain of 3.09%, finishing at 10,025.47 points. During the week, the index saw a low of 9,562.36 and a high of 10,055.06 points. In the same period, the Borsa Istanbul financial index increased by 3.62% to 11,976.50 points, the services index rose by 2.37% to 9,660.01 points, the industrial index increased by 1.80% to 13,192.59 points, and the technology index gained 2.71% to reach 14,024.52 points.

OYAK CEMENT WAS THE MOST APPRECIATED STOCK

Among the stocks included in the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, Oyak Cement was the highest riser this week with an increase of 10.50%. It was followed by Fenerbahçe Football Inc. with a rise of 10.10% and Türkiye Sigorta with 9.72%. The stocks that lost the most value among these were Borusan Investment and Marketing with a decrease of 7.19%, Papilon Defense with a drop of 6.08%, and Katılımevim with a decline of 5.71%. The most valuable companies traded on Borsa Istanbul were Garanti BBVA with 546 billion lira, Koç Holding with 465 billion 337 million lira, and Turkish Airlines with 401 billion 235 million lira.

GOLD AND DOLLAR INCREASED

The gram price of 24-carat gold increased by 0.17% last week, reaching 2,964 lira, while the price of the republic gold rose by 0.16% to 20,108 lira. The selling price of the dollar increased by 0.09% to 35.2220 lira, and the selling price of the euro rose by 0.35% to 36.7810 lira. The selling price of the British pound, which was 44.1800 lira last week, gained 0.14% this week, rising to 44.2410 lira. The Swiss franc found buyers at 39.1010 lira, a decrease of 0.74% compared to the previous week.
