ANKARA'da boşanma aşamasındaki eşi Yakup Koca (55) tarafından öldürülen Semiha Koca (43) ve kızı Hilal Nur Koca (5), gözyaşlarıyla son yolcuklarına uğurlandı. Hilal Nur's, who was born in Ankara in 2019 as the first baby of the year, it was revealed that the then Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, visited her and her baby in the hospital.

Yesterday around 15.00, in Yeşilevler Neighborhood of Yenimahalle district, Yakup Koca went to his mother-in-law's house to talk to his wife Semiha Koca, who had gone to her mother's house with their 5-year-old daughter a month ago. Semiha Koca and her estranged husband met in the site's lodge. Yakup Koca shot Semiha Koca 6 times and then shot their daughter Hilal Nur Koca once during the argument. Yakup Koca then shot himself with the same gun. While the mother and daughter lost their lives at the scene, Yakup Koca, who was injured, also died in the hospital.

The mother and daughter, whose bodies were received from Ankara Forensic Medicine Institute by their relatives, had their funeral prayer at Ahmet Efendi Mosque in Karşıyaka Cemetery. Semiha Koca and her daughter Hilal Nur Koca, who were attended by their relatives, friends, and the local community, were laid to rest side by side with tears.

It was revealed that Hilal Nur Koca was born as the first baby of the year in Ankara in 2019 and the then Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, visited her and her mother in the hospital. Selçuk took Hilal Nur Koca, who was born with a normal delivery weighing 2.840 grams at Etlik Zübeyde Hanım Women's Health Education and Research Hospital of Health Sciences University, in her arms and put a gold necklace on her, and congratulated the mother Semiha Koca. Selçuk, who chatted with Semiha Koca, wished Hilal Nur baby a healthy, happy, and peaceful life, saying, "Every child born on the occasion of the new year becomes a hope for us, I hope."
