A person who had a dispute with his spouse in Adana went into a rage and stabbed his mother, then strangled her to death with a cane. According to the allegations, the incident occurred in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood of the district, where Haceli A. argued with his mother Nimet Araz over her alleged insults towards his wife. The argument quickly escalated into a fight. Haceli A., who went into a fit of rage, stabbed his mother. After the knife broke, he strangled his injured mother with a cane and then called 112 to report that he had killed her. Medical teams that arrived at the scene determined that the woman was dead, while the police detained the suspect. The elderly woman's body was taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institution for an autopsy. It was learned that the suspect, who works as a farmer, has two children.
