According to the allegations, the incident occurred in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood of the district, where Haceli A. argued with his mother Nimet Araz over her alleged insults towards his wife. The argument quickly escalated into a fight. Haceli A., who went into a fit of rage, stabbed his mother. After the knife broke, he strangled his injured mother with a cane and then called 112 to report that he had killed her.
