In response to Düzce Mayor Faruk Özlü, who is a member of the AK Party, stating on his social media account that Bolu Mountain is called Düzce Mountain, Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan, who is a member of the CHP, replied on his social media account, saying "Don't try to take Kaynaşlı, Yığılca, and Akçakoca away from me. Be smart."

Düzce Mayor Faruk Özlü made a post on his social media accounts yesterday stating that Bolu Mountain is actually called Düzce Mountain.

In his post, Özlü said, "There are misconceptions that are believed to be true. One of them is the name 'Bolu Mountain'. Actually, there is no 'mountain' on the Bolu side. The Bolu side is a plain. The mountain is on the Düzce side. According to its geographical structure, this is not 'Bolu Mountain', but 'Düzce Mountain'. In terms of living space, almost all of the businesses along the road on the mountain belong to the people of Düzce. Let's correct this mistake. The correct name of this mountain is 'Düzce Mountain'."

TANJU ÖZCAN'S RESPONSE WAS NOT DELAYED

CHP's Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan responded to Özlü's statements with a post on his social media account, saying: "Faruk Özlü, the current mayor of Düzce. He has his eyes on Bolu Mountain. Bolu Mountain is the symbol of Bolu. Don't lose Kaynaşlı, Yığılca, and Akçakoca. Be smart."
