New details have emerged in the investigation regarding the discovery of a father and daughter found dead in their home in a three-story building in the Osmangazi district of Bursa. FATHER FOUND DEAD IN ATTIC, DAUGHTER IN ROOM
The incident occurred in a three-story building on Yayla Street in the Ovaakça neighborhood. When relatives entered the house, Kübra Aybey (28) was found motionless in her bed on the ground floor, while her father Nazmi Aybey (55) was found hanging in the attic. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. Medical teams confirmed that the father and daughter had passed away.
AUTOPSY REPORT REVEALED THE MYSTERY
After examinations at the scene, the bodies were taken to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the exact causes of death. Based on autopsy findings and the ongoing investigation, it is believed that Nazmi Aybey strangled his daughter before committing suicide.
FATHER'S CALMNESS CAUGHT ATTENTION
It was learned that the family lived together in the three-story building, and that the mother and other sister were not at home during the incident. Neighbors and relatives stated that Nazmi Aybey had been exhibiting a withdrawn state of mind in recent days but did not share any problems with those around him. Kübra Aybey, who worked as an accountant at a private company, was reported to have no known issues.
It has been learned that the funerals of the father and daughter will be buried after the autopsy procedures, while the investigation into the incident continues.
