After strangling his 13-year-old daughter to death in Tekirdağ, the father, who attempted suicide, confessed that he cut his daughter's wrists to make it look like a suicide. It was revealed that the murderous father sent a message to his ex-wife saying, "Mom, why did you kill me?" The scratch marks on his face broke hearts, indicating that his daughter had tried to defend herself against him.
The brutality that occurred on Bedri Rahmi Street in the Hatipler neighborhood of Çorlu district in Tekirdağ deeply shocked Turkey. Amir Yazıcı (44), who divorced his wife and worked in a factory, shared a note on his social media account referring to his ex-wife, saying, "G.U. is fully responsible for our deaths. Forgive me. Goodbye." After relatives who saw the post could not reach Yazıcı, police teams arrived at the address and, with the help of a locksmith, entered the house, where they found the lifeless body of 13-year-old Su Dilem Yazıcı. Amir Yazıcı, who was found injured with cut wrists, was taken to Çorlu State Hospital for treatment. After his treatment at the hospital, Yazıcı was detained by the police.
HE CUT HIS DAUGHTER'S WRISTS TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE SUICIDE
The public prosecutor on duty at the Çorlu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, along with the teams from the District Police Department's Public Order Bureau and crime scene investigation officers, conducted a detailed examination at the house and on the deceased Su Dilem Yazıcı. During the investigation, it was found that Su Dilem, an 8th-grade student at Mustafa Cezzar Primary School, had 1-centimeter-deep cuts on both wrists made by a sharp object. Yazıcı, who gave contradictory statements at the police station, later confessed that he strangled his daughter to death and then cut the wrists of both her and himself to make it look like a suicide.
THE NAIL MARKS ON THE FATHER'S FACE BROKE HEARTS
In his statement, Yazıcı said he saw a post on his daughter's social media account with her boyfriend and added, "We argued shortly after my daughter came home from school for these reasons. Then, in a fit of rage, I strangled my daughter on the couch. I cut both of her wrists. Later, I took pills to commit suicide and cut my own wrists." The nail marks on Yazıcı's face broke hearts, indicating that Su Dilem had tried to defend herself against her father.
SHE SENT A MESSAGE TO HER EX-WIFE, "MOM, WHY DID YOU KILL ME?"
Mother G.U. stated in her police testimony that she learned her daughter was picked up by her father after school yesterday, and she received a message from Su Dilem's phone saying, "Mom, why did you kill me? I died because of you. What did I tell you? Didn't I say I would make you experience the greatest pain in this world? Here, live with it, you are a murderer."
"I CAN'T LEAVE YOU LIKE THIS, MY BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER"
Su Dilem Yazıcı was buried in tears at Havuzlar Cemetery after the funeral prayer held at Çorlu Garaj Mosque yesterday. G.U., who embraced her daughter's coffin, cried out, "My beautiful daughter, I can't get enough of your scent, how could they put you in this coffin? I can't leave you like this. My mother, my beautiful daughter."
