The statement expressed that the US and Israel carried out the action disregarding their international obligations.
The Iranian Atomic Energy Organization stated that according to technical inspections conducted as a result of the attacks, there was no radioactive leakage at the nuclear facility and that there was no danger to the local population.
HIT BEFORE AS WELL
In the early days of the war, the US and Israel had also targeted the Natanz Nuclear Facility. In this attack, the International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed that damage was observed in the entrance buildings of the facility based on satellite images, but reported that no radiological issues were expected. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that they have no intention of conflict with Islamic countries and neighboring states, wishing "God to grant them strength and insight." In a statement made from his X account, Pezeshkian emphasized that Israel is the only country benefiting from the regional dispute, stating, "We have no intention of conflict with Islamic countries and our neighbors."
Pezeshkian also addressed discussions regarding Iran's intention to develop nuclear weapons, stating that no official in the country would take a step in that direction. He noted that Iran has never sought nuclear weapons and frequently mentioned that the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has declared nuclear weapons forbidden according to Islamic law.
TRUMP: I DO NOT WANT A CEASEFIRE
US President Donald Trump stated that the US and Israel are "literally destroying the other side" in the attacks on Iran, expressing that he does not want a ceasefire in this situation.
Trump answered journalists' questions about the ongoing attacks on Iran as he left the White House to board a plane.
Evaluating the possibility of reaching a ceasefire with Iran and returning to a dialogue platform, Trump said, "I do not want to make a ceasefire. You know, you do not make a ceasefire while literally destroying the other side."
In response to the question of whether Israel would be ready to end its attacks simultaneously with the US, Trump replied, "I think so. Our relationship is very good. We want roughly the same things. What do we want? We both want victory."
Trump stated that the US has not used the Strait of Hormuz, where ship traffic has sharply decreased since the attacks began, and argued that Europe, South Korea, Japan, and China should "intervene" in this matter.
Regarding Iran, Trump said, "From a military perspective, all they do is block the strait. From a military standpoint, their situation is dire."
